Alice (Struble) Eckler

June 17, 1930 ~ January 2, 2017 (age 86) 86 Years Old

Alice Eckler of Montgomery, NY, a retired Bus driver for Dial a bus, in Goshen & Chester and a lifelong resident of the area passed away on Monday January 2, 2017, in Middletown.  She was 86. 

The daughter of the late Frank and Alice Gillespie Struble, she was born June 17, 1930 in Middletown, New York.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Montgomery where she served as the Treasurer of the Westminster Guild. She was a member of the Montgomery Senior Center and the New Horizons Senior Group.

She was the widow of Charles Kiernan and Harold Eckler.

Daughter,     Lynn Bradatsch & her husband John of Montgomery, NY
Daughter,     Arline Clark & her husband John of Walden, NY
Daughter,     Debra Marsh & her husband Doug of Tallahassee, FL
Son,          Thom Kiernan & his wife Kim of Plattekill, NY
8 Grandchildren: Jessica, Justin, Jonathan, Byron, Jennifer, Thomas II, Shawn, & Alicia
7 Great Grandchildren: Brooke, Bailey, Parker, Cameron, Brandon, Blake, & Mallory

She was predeceased by her Great Granddaughter McKenzie and Brother Charles.
Visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2017 from 10-1230. at the Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. at First Presbyterian Church, Clinton St., Montgomery, NY.
Pastor Dave Widmer will officiate.

Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery in Montgomery, NY.
