Ann Curtis of Athens, NY, entered into eternal rest, surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 28, 2017, in Poughkeepsie. She was 73. She was a former member of the Walden Reformed Church.Ann was the daughter of the late Myron and Louene Reynolds, she was born November 03, 1943 in Newburgh. She grew up in Walden, and met and married herloving husband “Curt” at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Poughkeepsie. They joyfully celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this past September. They bought their first home in Hyde Park and raised their two sons Jimmy and Timmy in this home. They recently retired to Athens, NY. Ann held various secretarial positions, she was most proud of her biggest role as mother and wife to her family. She enjoyed camping and hiking and was a den mother for her boys Cub Scout troops. She loved doing word searches, puzzles and spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include her husband ,James at home; son ,James Curtis, Jr. and his wife Laura of Highland Mills, NY; son , Tim Curtis and his wife Sarah of Poughkeepsie, NY. Eight grandchildren Jimmy, Andrew, Ethan, Lucy, Adam, Zoe, Iris and Violet. brother, Thomas Reynolds and his wife Fran of Florida ; sister, Louene Boughman of Arkport, NY; brother , Robert Reynolds of New Windsor, NY;, brother-in-law William Day and his wife Laurie. Cousins Richard and Peggy Indermillas well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Bill Reynolds; brother-in-law Virgil Baughman. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 4-7pm. at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St.Walden, NY. .A funeral mass will be Thursday, November 2, 2017, 11am at Most Precious Blood, Walnut St., Walden, NY.. Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY..
