Carl "Bud" Weller of Walden, NY, a retired Corrections Officer for NYS DOC in Wallkill and a  resident of the area passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016, in Newburgh.  He was 94. 

The son of the late John and Frances Van Scoyk Weller, he was born January 06, 1922 in Walden.

He served in the Army during World War II, having attained the rank of Private 1st Class. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Walden Fire Department, Walden Softball League, and Maybrook and Walden Sportsmans Clubs.

He loved his family and his trips to Wolf Lake.

He was the widower of Marjorie Weller.

(Son)          Mark Weller and his wife Josephine of Greenwich, CT
Granchildren   Zachary and Matthew Weller, and Heather Korn
Great-Grandson Jordan

He was predeceased by

(Sister)       Bernice Hurd 

Visitation will be Thursday, August 18,2016 from 5-8 p.m. at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY.

A funeral service will be Friday, August 19, 2016 at 10 a.m.,  at the funeral home. Virginia Esposito will officiate.

Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY.
