Charles N. Reichle, 53, of Walden, husband to Marianne and father of Amanda and Charlie, passed away Saturday January 6th, 2018 at St Luke’s Hospital in Utica, New York.  Charlie was born January 27th, 1964, to the late Frederick and Vanita Doolittle Reichle.  Many things were important to Charlie, especially working hard, providing for his family and enjoying life to the fullest. He found much pride in building Fred Reichle Diesel from a one shop business into a conglomerate of success. He was always adamant about “just doing things”, and throughout his life he had traveled a lot with his family, built the infamous Field of Dreams and Forestport’s finest snowmobiling man cave.  As much as he did for himself and his family, he found an immense amount of gratification in serving and giving back to his community. He was a part of the Walden Rotary Club and American Legion Baseball. Most people who experienced Charlie, would all say the same things about him. He was giving, caring, welcoming, enthusiastic, hardworking, crazy and a character. He would give the shirt off of his own back to anyone in need. May we remember him always as the great man he was.

Survivors include his wife Marianne at home; daughter  Amanda Reichle of Walden; son Charlie Reichle of Walden; grandson Seth; beloved dog  Jack; sister  Lisa Reichle of Kingston, brother Freddie Reichle and wife Eileen of Walden and sister  Leslie Masker and husband Levi of Walden; nieces & nephews   Alfie Ford, Karoline Ford,Jamie Ford, Danielle Stroop & Family, Levi Masker, Jacob Masker , and Kathryn Masker; great Niece  Leslie Grace Ford

Visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2018 from 4-8 pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY 12586.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 13, 2018, 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY.
