Corinne D. Koonz-Pushman, 82, of New Paltz, NY, a retired secretary at Ostrander Elementary in Wallkill, NY and a resident of the area died Tuesday, January 26, 2016, in Poughkeepsie.

The daughter of the late John C and Edith A. Piccinich Stanish , she was born June 09, 1933 in Brooklyn New York.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, New Paltz, past President of Tri County School Secretary Association, past President of Grand Strand Newcomer's Club, past President of St. Andrews Woman's Club, Catholic Woman of the Year in St. Andrews R.C. Church, Myrtle Beach and Capt. of the cheerleaders of Wallkill High School 1949-51.

Survivors include her sons:  Edward J Koonz and his wife Bernadette M. of Gardiner, NY,   Jeffrey J Koonz and his wife Patti of Goodman, MS,  Robert M Koonz and his wife Margaret A. of High Falls, NY and  James J Koonz and his wife Chyrl of Chadds Ford, PA;  5 grandchildren:  Jeffrey and wife Maura, Jessica, Erin, Andrew & Kayla;  2 great-grandchildren:  Mary Margaret & Jameson; 2 nephews:  John Stanish and his wife Marie & Gary Stanish

She was predeceased by her brother John Stanish and husbands Edward "Mickey" Koonz & Albert Pushman

Visitation will be Monday, February 1, 2016 from 3-6 p.m., with a eulogy at 5:30 pm, at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY.

A funeral mass will be Tuesday, February 2, 2016, 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church, 34 S Chestnut St., New Paltz, NY. Fr. Michael will officiate.

Burial will be in Bruynswick Rural Cemetery in Wallkill, NY.
