Ernest Stimpfel of Montgomery, NY, passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 at home. He was 88. 

The son of  the late Andreas Stimpfel and Maria Epic Stimpfel, he was born October 06, 1928 in Lubijana, Yugoslavia.

Ernest worked as a butcher for Kraus & Hansel & Gretel in Jamaica, Queens.

Survivors include his
Wife  Flora C. Costa at home, 
Stepdaughter Honor Clementz of the Bronx, Stepson Marino Belich of the Bronx
Grandchildren Raymond Clementz, Christine Clementz, Justin & Diana 
               Belich
Great Grandchildren Michael John,James,Hannah 

Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 5-8pm at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union Street, Montgomery, NY 12549.

A mass of christian burial will be Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Name of Mary Church, 89 Union St., Montgomery, NY.

Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, NY.
