Ethel Jeanne Raftery of Wallkill, NY, a retired technician for IBM, Poughkeepsie, New York and a  resident of the area passed away on Tuesday November 10, 2015, in her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Wallkill.  She was 94.

The daughter of the late Louis and Ester Bari Buko, she was born July 28, 1921 in Hudson, New York.

She was a long-time member of  Jehovah’s Witnesses

She was the widow of William Raftery.

Survivors include her

Daughter,     Barbara Caccarile and her husband Albert of Wallkill, NY; four grandchildren Alexander, Heather, Jennifer, and Zachary Hinchy; one brother Louis Buko, Jr; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, William; her son, Richard Lyman; two brothers and four sisters.
