Gerit Claire Hillegas

Gerit Claire Hillegas of Maybrook, NY, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018, in Maybrook.  She was 24. 

The daughter of Robert L. Hillegas and Melissa E. Monroe-Hillegas, she was born August 04, 1993 in Goshen.

Gerit previously worked as a certified nursing assistant for Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center, before the birth of her son Ryker.

Survivors include her Son, Ryker Joseph Carney, father Robert L. Hillegas, mother Melissa E. Monroe-Hillegas, sister Jamie E Hillegas, significant other & Ryker's father Cory J Carney, beloved cat  Moo, and her dear & loving friends.

She was predeceased by grandparents Donald & Bernice Hillegas, and James & Janet Monroe; uncles, Todd K. Monroe & Donald L. Hillegas, beloved dog  Diesel, several Aunts and Uncles.

Visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2018 from 2-5:30 pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY 12586.

Funeral services will follow at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
