Henry "Hank" Crawley formerly of Wallkill, NY, a longtime resident of the area passed away on Sunday June 18, 2017, in Round Rock, Texas.  He was 90 years old.

The son of the late Joseph Crawley and Ellen Kirk Crawley, he was born December 25, 1926 in Dublin, Ireland.

He was the widower of the late Bridget(Breda)Crawley.

Survivors include his Son, Stephen Crawley, his wife Merri and their children John & Bridget of Round Rock, TX; Son, Robert Crawley, his wife Maureen and their children Brian & Sarah of Austin, TX; Son, Terry Crawley, his wife Jacqueline and their son Colin of Murphy, TX; Son, Father Richard Crawley, OFM,CAP.

He was a member of St. Benedicts Church in Wallkill, NY and St. Williams Church, Round Rock, Texas.

Henry immigrated from Ireland in 1955. He served in the Royal Air Force from 1946 to 1952. Henry dedicated his life to raising his four sons.

He was loved by many for his charm and friendly nature and willingness to help anyone who needed it. Henry loved Wallkill and the friendships, his beloved St. Benedicts church and the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Henry was a proud Ford Motor Company retiree and later, IBM retiree in the Mid-Hudson Valley. While living in Texas, he grew closer to his grandchildren and delighted in their success. He always had a loving smile for them. He was also blessed to be cared for by guardian angels in NY and TX. A special thanks to his guardian angel in Texas, Celia, and Joe C., Lola N., Kathy S, and many others in NY. 

Visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2017 from 5-7pm at Wallkill Funeral Home 12 Bonaventura Ave., Wallkill, NY 12589.

A mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday July 1, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church,34 South Chestnut St., New Paltz, NY 12561. Fr. Richard Crawley, Henry’s son, will officiate.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
