James A. "Jim" Carney of New Windsor, NY, a Warehouse worker for Hilton, Gibson & Miller, New Windsor and a lifetime resident of the area died  Thursday, September 24, 2015, in Valhalla.  He was 58. 

The son of the late John W. Carney, Sr and Mary Grilz Carney, he was born July 02, 1957 in Newburgh, New York.

He was a former member of  various Drum & Bugle Corps in the area. Jim was  also a worker for American Felt and Filter in his earlier years. Jim was a lover of cats and often rescued them. 
He was Married to his wife Gina 36 years.

Aunt and uncle Donald and Madline Carney from Cornwall
Aunt Ruth Lamb from Brooklyn 
as well as many cousins who love him 
He is also survived by his beloved canine companion, Tabatha for the last 16 years.
He was predeceased by Brother John Carney, Jr.
