He was a former member of various Drum & Bugle Corps in the area. Jim was also a worker for American Felt and Filter in his earlier years. Jim was a lover of cats and often rescued them.
He was Married to his wife Gina 36 years.

He is also survived by his beloved canine companion, Tabatha for the last 16 years.
