James Theodore Pine of Montgomery, NY passed Friday, June 16, 2017 at home in Montgomery. He was 58.

Son of Elizabeth Maher and the late Raymond G. Pine, and late stepfather Roger Maher, he was born July 25, 1958 in Newburgh, NY.  Loving husband to Tracey Carmichael, married 19 years. Ted was a beloved husband, son, brother, God father and second father to his many nieces and nephews. He is lovingly remembered for his heart, his humor and his wardrobe. 

Born and raised in Montgomery, NY, Ted had many friends in the village and later made a home out of his childhood house with wife Tracey. He was an avid New York Yankees fan, loved traveling with his wife to his favorite destination, Italy. His true passion was his family, and his life and home in Montgomery. He is a published author of the children’s book Don’t Cry, Gertrude. 

He is survived by siblings sister Diane Gollow and husband Steve, sister Nancy Pine, brother Brian Pine and wife Diane, sister Lori Schmidt and husband Peter, sister Allison Dabroski and husband Steve, brother Frank Pine and wife Rose, sister-in-law Susan Carmichael, brother-in-law Dennis Carmichael and wife Rosey, sister-in-law Nancy Sheldon and husband Brent, and brother-in-law Rod Carmichael. He is also survived by his canine companions Jackson Jordan and Finnegan Daily.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM at Overhiser Funeral home, 78 Union St. Montgomery, NY 12549.
