Jerry Thietje of Wallkill, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at home.  He was 66. 

The son of the late Fred and Vivian Smith Thietje, he was born June 08, 1950 in Holyoke, Colorado.

He was a former fireman and EMT for the Shawangunk Fire Department.

Survivors include his
wife of 45 years, Patricia at home, two sons James Thietje and his wife Kimberly and Jerry Thietje and his wife Jennifer, daughter Sarah Reed,
four grandchildren  Kaitlyn, Kelsey, Sean and Ryan
two brothers Myron Thietje & Marlon Smith
sister     Anita Thietje

He was pre-deceased by his Daughter Barbara Ann.
                

Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2017 from 10:30-1:30. at the Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bonaventura Ave. Wallkill, NY

A funeral mass will follow the visitation at 2:00 P.M. at St. Benedicts Chapel, Wallkill Ave, Wallkill, NY.

Burial will be in Bruynswick Rural Cemetery in Wallkill, NY.
