John Richard Shea of Wallkill, NY, a Sales Representative for Allis Chalmers Tractor Corp,and a lifelong resident of the area passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016. He was 86.

The son of the late James and Mary Fox Shea, he was born December 11, 1929 in Walden.

He served in the US Army.

Dad was a loving husband,father, and grandfather who will be deeply mourned. Dad was highly successful in sales, earning awards and prizes. He was a great joker and known to tease! Some may even call him a rascal! He just loved family parties. Dad was sentimental and philosophical too. He always kept up with politics- even with Alzheimers! Our family has suffered through the great affliction of Alzheimers, and we pray for an end of this disease. We love you, Dad. We know you have joined your true Love in heaven! Survivors include his daughters Colleen Sirna and her husband Robert, Doreen Urban and her husband Karl; sons Richard Shea and his wife Susan, Peter Shea and his wife Honor; grandchildren Mary Urban, Lilly McLaughlin, Daniel Sirna, Paul Shea and Mathew Shea; sisters Eileen Avvocato and Margaret Donnelly; brother Michael Shea

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 5-8pm. at Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bonaventura Ave, Wallkill, NY.

A funeral mass will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016, 1:30 P.M. at St. Benedicts Chapel, Wallkill Ave, Wallkill, NY.
