Judy H. Obermeyer Iacovino of Walden, NY, a retired School Psychologist for Arlington HS, and a lifelong resident of the area died  Wednesday, June 15, 2016, in New York City.  She was 59. 

Born the youngest of four, and the only girl to Helen and Joseph Cassidy born on January 12, 1957. Graduate of Valley Central High School, she was a lover of education, obtaining a Masters of Psychology at SUNY New Paltz. A lifetime learner, Judy enjoyed taking classes in Philosophy and volunteering time to her hobbies such becoming a Master Gardener of Orange County. 
Judy’s previous employment includes- The Department of Correction, C.O., Arlington High School, Psychologist and owner of Enchanted Florist/Town of Newburgh.

Judy was survived by her Husband- Joseph Iacovino, Son-Carl Obermeyer (Carli), Daughters- Dorene Keiva (Steve), Maria Jones (Peter), Father - Joseph Cassidy, Brothers- Joseph Cassidy (Jean), Robert Cassidy (Joanne), Richard Cassidy (Laurie). 6 Grandchildren, Nicole, Brianna, Alexis, Peter Jr, Ava, Jackson and one Great Grandson Chase. Judy was predeceased by her Mother Helen Cassidy  

Visitation will be Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 5-9pm. at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St.Walden, NY.

A funeral service will be held Monday, June 20, 2016, 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
