Marlene A. (Droney) Chrystal

Marlene A "Muggs" Chrystal of Maybrook, NY, a lifelong resident of the area died  Saturday, January 27, 2018, in Newburgh.  She was 82. 

The daughter of the late Joseph and Marion Droney, she was born October 10, 1935 in Goshen.
 
Marlene loved life.  Whether you saw her working at Campbell Hall Rehab,, Hoeffner's Farm or running into a store 5 minutes after closing, she was always dressed to impress, and not a hair out of place.
She enjoyed making people laugh and being around the Malley farm, her friends and family.  She had a genuine giving heart, cared deeply for animals and loved to bake and cook. Marlene always had something to give; a story, a cake, or a gift. Her generosity, Halloween costumes, and spunk will truly be missed.

Survivors include her daughter Colleen Chrystal of Maybrook; son Mathew Chrystal and his wife Linda of Indiana; grandson Jake Archibald and fiance Gabriella; great granddaughter Isabella Archibald; close friend  Irma DelSanto andseveral cousins

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018, 10:00 A.M. at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY.

Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery in Montgomery, NY.
