On November 7, 2017, Mary Ella White passed away at the age of 74. She was born October 7, 1943, the middle child of the late Albert and Marian Baldwin Schofield.
 
Mary was the proud daughter of farmers and as a result always had a great work ethic and a true love for animals. She liked to fish, especially when she was in

Florida or while at her daughter Shari’s pond. Mary loved to golf, bowl and hunt and her many years of successful hunting included a 10-point buck last November. 

Mary started her career as a Secretary for Inter-County Savings Bank in New Paltz, and was proud of her fast shorthand and typing skills. 

She then worked for IBM, moved onto the Wallkill Central School District, and then worked as a Postal Clerk for the US Post Office for over 30 years. 

Mary retired & spent the last several winters in Englewood, Florida where she truly enjoyed her close friends & the warm weather.
    
Her surviving family includes husband David White, daughter Wendy Troncone & her husband William, daughter Shari Nichols & her husband Abram,

and daughter Kristina White. Her loving granddaughters Logan Stockhofer and Mariah Nichols, grandsons Todd Stockhofer, Rudolph & Charles Troncone, 

and Zachary Nichols. Brother Gary Schofield, brother-in-law Alan White & his wife Maria White, brother-in-law and close friends Steven and Karen Watkins & sister-in-law Alma McCormick. Mary was predeceased by her brother Reverend Albert Schofield.    
Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2017 from 4-7pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY 12586.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 11, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Simon.

Burial will be in New Hurley Cemetery in Wallkill, NY. In lieu of flowers please make donations to her late brother’s church Binnewater Union Free Chapel 

in Kingston, NY or donate to other causes Mary loved, PetsAlive.org or the American Cancer Society.
