Mr. Ralph Waldo Hackett III entered into peace on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the age of 65.
Born in Dumont, New Jersey he was the son of Gwendolyn and Ralph Waldo Hackett 2nd.
Ralph graduated from Tappan Zee High School in Orangeburg, New York and was a Master Tuner of Pianos and Organs.
He was employed by Fair-Rite Products Corp. in Wallkill, as the Assistant Director of Security. He also worked for the MTA as a security guard.
Ralph previously served as the Town of Shawangunk Dog Control Officer and also as Orange County Deputy Sheriff Correctional Officer at the Goshen Jail.
He was the President and Owner of Roeder’s Piano and Organ’s Inc. in Middletown. He tuned pianos for many celebrities that entertained in the Catskill Hotel Region. He also tuned pianos and organs at The Lincoln Center. 
Ralph is survived by his Mother, Gwen and his sister, Jacqueline Babb of Tennessee and nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his good friend Barbara Scott-Fisher and his many friends at Fair-Rite.
A memorial service honoring Ralph will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bonaventura Ave., Wallkill, NY 12589.
