Raymond "Doug" Schoonmaker

Raymond "Doug" Schoonmaker of Walden, NY, an Operating Engineer for Local 825, and a  resident of the area died  Thursday, April 21,2016, in Newburgh.  He was 85. 

The son of the late Raymond Leslie and Gladys L. Mower Schoonmaker, he was born October 19, 1930 in Newburgh, New York.

He was a trustee for the International Union of Operating Engineers for 16 years and former member of Enterprise Steamers Company, Walden Fire Department. He loved to fly, photography, target shooting and woodworking.

(Daughter)     Dawn Louise Schoonmaker of Deltona, FL
(Son)          Doug Schoonmaker and his wife Christy of Conway, SC
14 Grandchildren

Visitation will be Monday, April 25, 2016, from 7pm-9pm and Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 11 am- 1pm, at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St.Walden, NY.

A funeral service will follow immediately after visitation at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY.
