Rhine Schaper of Walden, NY, a Dairy farmer , and a longtime resident of the area died  Sunday, June 19, 2016, in Newburgh.  He was 94. 

He was born in Paterson, NJ, to Dutch immigrants Jacob and Wilhelmina Schaper on August 21, 1921.

He was the widower of Ann Schaper.

grandchildren: Paul Deselets of Falls Church, VA, Renee Bonilla of Bethlehem, PA, Kristi Holt of Wallkill, Kevin Schaper of Fishkill, Mike Schaper of Montgomery, Jeff Schaper of Walden, Keith Schaper of Adams, TN
great-grandchildren: Ray Olivo of Boston, MA, Marc Olivo of Miami, FL, Maddox and Breyten Schaper of Montgomery, Jack, Owen and Ryder Schaper of Walden, Elliott and Oliver Rhine Schaper of Adams, TN

He was predeceased by his
siblings  Cornelia Wilhemina Roskam, Gertrude Haakmeester, William Schaper, Leonard Schaper and Jennie Boyce

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY.
