Robert J. Leibmann of Orange Lake, NY, a retired painter, and a 32 year resident of the area died Tuesday, October 4, 2011, in Newburgh.  He was 78.
He left this world peacefully, surrounded by his family having lived a long and happy life.  He took great joy in a simple walk in the woods, the chance to put his feet in the lake he loved, or a laugh with his grandchildren. The son of the late Francis and Florence Martin Leibmann, he was born February 22, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY.
He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.
