Shirley C Donovan of Newburgh, NY, an Apple packer and toy maker for Crist Brothers Orchard, Walden and a lifelong resident of the area passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, October 24, 2017, in Newburgh.  She was 82. 

The daughter of the late Louis and Carrie Cawein, she was born February 02, 1935 in Campbell Hall, New York.

husband     Frank Donovan, Sr. at home 
son         Frank Donovan and his wife Michelle of Walden, NY
daughter    LuAnn Comfort and her husband Charlie of Walden, NY
four grandchildren Shannon Salyer and her husband Chuck, Christie Donovan, Jimmy DeZemo and his wife Michelle, Becky DeZemo and her companion Ryan
five great grandchildren  Sara, Julie, Joselyn, Emma and Wyatt
many nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Cawein 

Graveside services will be Thursday, October 26, 2017, 9:30 A.M. at Wallkill Valley Cemetery, , Walden, NY.
Rev. James Van Houten will officiate.
