Shirley Mae Seurat Keeping Dippel of New Paltz, NY, a retired Cosmetology Teacher for Ulster BOCES, and a lifetime resident of the area passed away Friday, March 31, 2017, in New Paltz.  She was 95.

The daughter of the late Louis and Tilly Mae Decker Seurat, she was born August 01, 1921 in Newburgh, New York.

She was a member of the Wallkill Reformed Church. Shirley was also the AARP Trip coordinator in the New Paltz/Gardiner area.

She was the widow of both John Keeping and William F. Dippel.

Survivors include her
Daughter, Barbara Keeping Winters and her husband David of Modena, NY, Grandson, Shawn Winters and his wife Amanda of Wallkill, Granddaughter, Erin Stacy Ritsema and her husband David of Greeley, CO
6 Greatgrandchildren: Mark, Shawn, Owen, Arilyn, Asher & Daniel
3 stepchildren: David Dippel of NYC
Paul Dippel and his wife, Karen of Garden City, NY
Evelyn Muller of Pasedena, California

She is also survived by several Nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday April 18, 2017 from 4-7 pm at the Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bonaventura Ave, Wallkill, NY 12589.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Wallkill Reformed Church, 45 Bridge St., Wallkill, NY.

Rev. Howard Dalton will officiate.
