Stephen W Pfeffer

Stephen Pfeffer, 78, passed away on February 12, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh following a brief illness. He was born in New York City to the late John and Louise Pfeffer on September 16, 1939. 

He worked for many years as a tool and die maker at Star Expansion and at Fargo. He took pride in the precision of his profession before it became computerized. 

In his younger years he loved trap shooting, fishing, and hunting with his nephew, John. He vacationed with his wife for over 30 years in Maine. In his later years he enjoyed visiting Northeast Kingdom in Vermont. 

He is survived by his wife, Jean, of 49 years, many nephews, nieces, and his faithful companions, Chloe and Daffodil. He was predeceased by his sister, June Debates.

Friends may call between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bona Ventura Ave., Wallkill, NY 12589.
