Timothy L Burns Montgomery, NY, a driver for United Parcel Service in Chester and a 32 year resident of Montgomery passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016, in Middletown.  He was 62.

The son of the late John J. and Norvilla Siegel Burns, he was born November 14, 1953 in Suffern, NY.

Tim was an avid fisherman, and diehard NY Jets fan. He was also the most beloved UPS man for 27 years. Not only did all the customers love him, but so did the many dogs and animals that looked forward to seeing him and his treats. But most importantly Tim was the most generous, loving, kindest, humble, selfless husband and father there could ever be. He met his wife, Darlene, 40 years ago and they have been best friends ever since. Then came along his other two best friends, his sons, Timmy and Roger. He demonstrated integrity, character, and selflessness always putting his family first. He will be sorely missed. Everyone that knew him loved him.
