Warren "Mick" Wesley Winchell of Wallkill, NY, formerly of Ormond Beach, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. at home surrounded by his children. He was 78.
The son of Herbert and Gwendolyn Fraser Winchell, he was born March 17, 1939 in Newburgh.
Warren served in the Army and was stationed in Korea. He was a past member of the Montgomery Fire Department, being awarded Firefighter of the Year in 1966. Warren owned the former Winchell's Business Machines and Winchell's Video in Montgomery, NY. He was also a member of Moose Lodge #1263 in Ormond Beach, FL, where he served as a 2 Year Trustee.
Survivors include his Son David Winchell & his wife Ellen of Saranac Lake, NY, Daughter Linda Winchell of New Windsor, NY, Daughter Terri Damato & her husband Scott of Oxford, CT,
Daughter Laura Longinott & her husband Joel of Wallkill, NY, Son, Raymond Winchell and his wife Stefanie of Bradenton, FL
Grandchildren Caylin, Alanna & Conner Winchell, Jessi & Evan Longinott; Step Granddaughter Casandra; Great Grandchildren Miles and Ruth
Sisters Ruth Bosch of Hazelton, PA, Katherine Avery of Auburn, NY; Brother Alastair Winchell of The Villages, FL

Visitation will be Friday, October 27, 2017 from 4-7 pm at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.
A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. Friends are invited to share their stories of Mick.
Internment of ashes will take place Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.
