Anthony J. Colao

Anthony J. Colao of Montgomery, NY, died Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh.  He was 90. 

The son of the late Adolph and Antoinette Colao, he was born June 24, 1928 in NYC.
He retired after 35 Years from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and after that he owned his own business in Clifton, NJ. He then moved to Myrtle Beach and enjoyed playing golf, bridge and shopping. He will be dearly missed by his family.

son    Michael Colao and his wife Diane of Rochester, NY
daughter    Susan Petagno and her husband Frank of Allendale, NJ
daughter    Barbara White and her husband Robert of Montgomery, NY
daughter    Joanne Clark
daughter    Marie Parker and her husband Jim of Sandy Hook, CT
eight grandchildren: Lindsay, Stephanie, Marisa, Amanda, Rachel, Bryan, Jim and Michael
five great grandchildren: Henry, Theodore, Pacey, Ruthie and Edward
and several nieces, nephews and cousins 

He was predeceased by his wife Jean, and brothers   Joseph and Al .
The family would like to thank all the nurses and aides at Sapphire Goshen and Kaplan Family Hospice who took such wonderful care of him.

Graveside services will be at a later date at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, NY 10532.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, 1 Sunrise Lane, Newburgh, NY 12550.
