Carol Lee Marlatt of Venice, FL, longtime resident of the area passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 28, 2017, in Venice, Fl.  She was 73.

The daughter of the late Gordon Paul Bigness and Emily Bigness, she was born October 12, 1943 in Buffalo, New York.

Carol was a loving mother, a faithful wife, and loved by all who knew her. After Graduating from SUNY New Paltz, she started a career teaching kindergarten but put her career aside to start a family as a homemaker. She loved her little dog Max “Little Monkey” who stayed by her side and gave her comfort over the past three years. Carol was a past member of the Pine Bush Fire Departments Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include brothers Gordon Bigness of Venice FL, and Paul Bigness of Englewood FL, her Sons, Gordon Marlatt of Oneonta NY, Gregg Marlatt of Venice FL, Gerald Marlatt and Fiancée Kelly Doyle of Pine Bush NY, and Dennis Marlatt Jr of Pine Bush NY, Daughter, Tamara Ludington and husband Lance of Paradise CA, Sixteen Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her mother, father, Brother Gary Bigness and loving husband Dennis.

Funeral Service will take place on October 29th, 2017 11:00 am at the Pine Bush Fire House 2405 Route 52, Pine Bush, NY 12566, Carol will be interred in New Prospect Cemetery.
