Christopher Olson Obituary

Christopher Joseph Olson of Wallkill, NY, son of the late Clayton and Helen Olson was born on March 20, 1950 and peacefully passed away surrounded by his family and friends, the Jacozzi’s, Hagar’s, Palen’s, Pelella’s, and Christiano’s on December 14, 2018.  He lived his life for his family, friends and his career.  Together for 50 years, Chris was a proud husband to his wife, Joann,  and an amazing father to his daughter Michelle, son Chris and daughter-in-law Michelle.  Chris was lucky enough to become a grandfather in 2015 to his best friend, Danica, and again in 2018 to Kylie. He is survived by his brother Clayton Olson and his wife Bonnie, his predeceased brother Keith Olson and his wife Karen, sister and brother-in-law Lucille and Anthony Jacozzi and Donna McDaniel and predeceased Al McDaniel. Chris was an uncle to several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.  Chris loved his family and friends, with his career being his number one hobby.  He is known to have said, he loved his career just as much on his last day, as he did on his first, and not many people can say that.  During this difficult time, Chris found peace in the lyrics from the Beatles song, The End, “And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make.” A celebration of life, open to friends and family, will be held on February 2, 2019.
