Born April 4th 1928 went home to be with the Lord September 8th at 11:20am.

 Dorothy was the daughter of Earl Thomas & Ethel May DuBois of Walden N.Y., where she grew up with brother Dick Welsh and sister Mabel Turner. Dorothy was a lifetime resident of 2251 Scotts Corner Montgomery N.Y. she is now reunited with her husband of 71 years, Elisha Cooper. Predeceased by her son Richard E. Cooper, grandson James A. Cooper, son-in-laws Dennis Sprague & Gary Cooper, Dorothy is survived by her children Geraldine Sprague, Pastor Elisha T. Cooper(Whitey), wife Gale, Charlotte Stanley, husband Arthur, Linda Cooper, James A. Cooper, wife Loretta, Morris H.S. Cooper, wife Chrissy, Debra Hicks, husband Samuel, Thomas E. Cooper, wife Denise, Mary Tabasco, husband Arthur, Gizelle Harrison, husband Buckie; nephew James R. Cooper Jr, wife Margaret; sister in laws Charlotte and Barbara Cooper; her fostered children Clifford Smith, John Martin, &  Phyllis Ebling; her 31 grandchildren and numerous great & great great grandchildren; nieces Cathy & Carol and many other nieces & nephews. 
Dorothy was virtuous God fearing woman with many God given talents. she was a housewife and retired owner of E. Cooper and Sons Septic. Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother. She was our hero. She loved to cook, sew & do yard work but her passion was taking care of her husband, children & family. She was a charter member of Amazing Grace Fellowship Church of Pine Bush NY and an Eastern Star of Chapter 560. The love we had for her is indescribable and will be greatly missed. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 4-8pm. at Amazing Grace Fellowship Church, 20 Warn St, Pine Bush, NY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 13, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the church. Her son, Pastor Elisha T. Cooper, will officiate.

Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY.
In lieu of flowers all donations may be made to Amazing Grace Fellowship Church.
