Old Fort Riding Academy was like a dream come true for my sister, Juanine, and I. Yes, we thoroughy enjoyed our “wrangler” days taking our trail rides over the years. More importantly, I look back and remember Ed’s warmth, humor, concern and acceptance. He was a very special person and I cherish the memories of our time at Old Fort.

I just found this. Ed had such a positive influence on me, Robin, Juanine and others. I stayed at the house weekends and summers in about 1972. He provided the family I was looking for- not to mention the horses!! I rode Chipawa. Robin and I still discuss our fond memories. RIP Ed. You certainly made a positive imprint on this world.

You were one of the greatest men I ever had the pleasure of knowing. A real no nonsense kind of guy. You were always there to lend a hand and will never be forgotten. Sleep well friend

I'll miss You Pop. You've given me more memories than I can even count. I wouldn't trade the days I spent with You for anything. See You on the other side. I love You
