Eileen P. McAdam of Montgomery, New York, died on April 3, 2017.  She was born to John and Marion Phalen on April 16, 1946 in the city of New York.
She is survived by her husband of forty nine years, Gregory McAdam; daughter Dr. Kimberly McAdam (and her beloved, Anthony); son Gillon McAdam and his wife Kiersha; cherished granddaughter, Aurora McAdam. She was predeceased by her parents. Her memory will be treasured by her extended family of in-laws, cousins and many, many friends.

Eileen was a retired Orange County probation officer. She was an avid traveler, foodie, interior decorator, golfer, bridge player and entertainer. She was in her element when surrounded by friends and family throwing her legendary dinner parties. She was the consummate hostess relentless in her preparations; everything needed to be perfect and it always was.  Her passion for entertaining was only surpassed by her love for her granddaughter, Aurora.  They spent many afternoons together taking nature walks, playing in the park, swimming and (of course) shopping!

To those who had the good fortune of knowing her, loving her, and being supported by her, her loss leaves an unfillable void. Her exquisite taste, beauty, humor and grace will be forever missed and her spirit will be with us every day.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, April 8, 2017, from 1 to 4 pm, at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.
A memorial service will take place following the visitation at 4 pm, at the funeral home.
