Elizabeth and family, I have just learned of the death of Dr. Woodcock. As I write from NC, his home conference in the United Methodist Church, I extend my sympathy to you. My efforts to call, using the phone number in our directory, have not been successful. May God's peace be with you.

Words are hard to express how much I learned about the Bible from Dr. Woodcock. He not only taught the Bible, he lived it, and that is what I will always remember about him. God peace.

Dr Woodcock was one of my first professors at Nyack, Intro to OT, 7:40 am. I so appreciated his dedication to the Word of God and to teaching us to read more broadly other theological viewpoints.
In addition to class, I was privileged to interact with him as sponsor for the Chinatown Gospel Team, and to worship with your whole family at New City Alliance.
He and you have made good, lasting impressions on my life.
May God grant you His strength and comfort to help you through your sorrow.
