George B. Hillman of Newburgh, NY, a retired Truck Driver for Sunoco, in New Windsor and a lifetime resident of the area passed away on Friday March 24, 2017, in Middletown. He was 79.
The son of the late George and Ann Elizabeth Smith Hillman, he was born August 20, 1937 in Cornwall, New York.
He served in the Army in the 82nd Airborn.
He was a charter member and past president of Winona Lake Engine Company for over 50 years.
He was on the Newburgh Free Academy Class of 1957 Reunion Committee and emceed all the reunions. He loved the recreation of Lake George and went there for over 60 years.
A family statement reads: He was best friends to all of his sons and grandchildren. Cudda worked with his sons in each of their businesses.

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Hillman and his sister, Bettyann Sager
Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St.Walden, NY.
A funeral mass will be 10 am on Monday March 27, 2017, at Lady of the Lake Chapel, Route 52, Newburgh, NY.
Burial will be private.
