Josephine Catherine (Lorenz) Carson

Josephine Catherine (Lorenz) Carson of Middletown, NY, formerly of College Point, NY, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019, in Middletown.  She was 81. 

The daughter of the late John and Sophie (Stolz) Lorenz, she was born April 30, 1937 in College Point, New York.

She was a parishioner of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Parish in College Point, a member of The Marians, The Columbiettes, St. Anne's Society, The Band-Aids, Poppenhusen Society, the Hanac Senior Center, College Point Senior Center and the Poppenhusen Library Book Club. She was a Girl Scout leader and an active participant at the Braemar Community in Middletown.

Survivors include her husband William P. Carson, daughter Patricia Murphy & husband Kevin, daughter Marianne Ridout & husband Peter, son William F. Carson & wife Diana, grandchildren Sean, Brian, William, Thomas & Sarah, brother John Lawrence & wife Arline, sister Anne DiAgostino & husband Louis, sister Barbara Kouris, & sister Rosemary Williams. 

She was a beloved Godmother and fun-loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful friend, a good listener and always wanted to feed everyone.  She had a very strong faith and always wanted to keep having fun and new adventures, she did not want to be slowed down.
