Linda Christine Panessa

Linda Christine Panessa, resident of Montgomery, New York since 1984, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Monday, February 26, 2018. Linda was born in Brooklyn, New York, but had spent a portion of her youth in South Cairo, NewYork, graduating from Cairo Central High School.

Linda’s career work was with Insurance Services Office or ISO, where she served for over 35 years attaining the position of Department Manager. She had aspirations of become a clothing designer, and her artwork, proportions, and designs were spectacular.  Linda had a wonderful singing voice, loved music, shopping,  and was always  very generous and good natured. She was a thoughtful and caring daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be sorely missed.  Raphael and Ginger (Rafi and Gingie), her beloved cats who she loved so dearly, will miss her attentive care and unrelenting  indulgence.

 Linda is pre-deceased by grandparents Elizabeth (Calendrillo) and Joseph Feminella, Anna (Massa) and Anthony Panessa, mother Rose (Feminella) and William J. Panessa, sister Margaret Panessa, nephew and God Son, Kenneth Andrew Panessa.  She is survived by sister, Elizabeth, brother Richard, sister-in-law Sheila, and niece Erin Theresa Panessa.

A graveside gathering and prayer at St. Mary’s  Cemetery in Montgomery, New York is scheduled for Monday – March 5, 2018, 1:00 p.m.
