Murrelle J Osterhout of Montgomery, loving mother and grandmother, passed away, Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at home.  She was 81. 

The daughter of the late James and Dorothy Rodger Barefoot, she was born October 16, 1935 in York, NY.

Murrelle had worked as a secretary at Spence Engineering in Walden for many years until she retired in 2003. She loved knitting, gardening, playing her piano, and was known for her fabulous 'mile high apple pie'. She will be missed by many. 

Survivors include her son, Paul Bishop and his wife Lynn of Conroe, TX, daughter, Julie Bishop-Crouch and her husband Scott of Montgomery, NY, son, Noel Bishop and his wife Rachel of Monticello; grandchildren Cyndi, Tyna, Lyndsay, Katy, Megan, Alexander, Aaron, Kyle and Melanie; four great grandchildren
sister, Ruth Keller, brother, Jonathon Barefoot (Liz), brother, Sidney Barefoot (Donna), sister, Karen Cwiklinski (Fred);
many nieces and nephews and longtime friends Judy Lozier and Gail Yeaple

She was predeceased by brother David Barefoot and 
longtime partner Larry Yeaple, with whom she spent many happy years.

Private services will be held on August 5, in Caledonia, NY.
