Nanci Chaffee Sprague of Montgomery, NY, passed away Monday December 4, 2017, in Middletown. She was 67.

The daughter of the late Stephen Whitehead and Lillian Irene Shipman Chaffee, she was born December 19, 1949 in Bath, New York.

Nanci was the "Sunshine of Montgomery", always giving of herself no matter the circumstance. She was a loving mom and was loved by everyone that met her. 

She enjoyed making others feel special. Her favorite memories encompass some very special trips with her family and friends to Rhode Island, San Diego, Puerto Rico, Denver, and most importantly "camp". 

Survivors include her Daughter Kristyn Edwards & her husband Tyler, Grandson Jaksyn Edwards, Sister Phyllis C. Brescia, Sister Mary C. Devitt & Edward, Cherished Pet Snoop Dog, Kristyn's Father Louis Sprague, Lots of Nieces & Nephews, and Many close Friends whom she considered family. 

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by Brother-in-Law Vincent Brescia, and Dear Friend Toni Santiago. 

Visitation will be Thursday, December 7, 2017, from 12-2pm and 4-6pm at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union Street, Montgomery, NY 12549.

A service will follow at 6:30 at the funeral home.
