Ralph B. Nelson Jr. of Walden, NY passed away Friday, November 17, 2017, in Goshen.  He was 83.

The son of the late Ralph B. and Evelyn Kellerhouse Nelson, he was born December 26, 1933 in West Hurley, NY.

Ralph was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, as well as a big NASCAR Fan, with many NASCAR collectibles. He was the former groundskeeper at Crestview Lake and was a Teamster for Local 445 in Rock Tavern, NY.

Survivors include his wife Eleanor Maier Nelson at home; sons  Richard Nelson & Maureen of Plattekill, Donald Nelson & Melissa of Newburgh, William Nelson & Christine of Walden, and Ralph Buddy Nelson III & Jessica of Walden; five grandchildren  Richard Jr., Steven, Ryan, Donald, & Nicholas; one great grandchild Cooper; sisters Martha Peters of Saugerties and Sharon Schick of Kingston; several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Monday, November 20, 2017 from 4-6:30pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St.Walden, NY. 

Funeral services will follow 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Rev. James Van Houten will officiate.
