Robert Jason Auchmoody

Robert Jason Auchmoody of Wallkill N.Y., a longtime resident of the area, passed away on July 26, 2018.He was 92 years old.

The son of the late Pauline and Jason Auchmoody, he was born in Clintondale N.Y. in 1925. He was a WWII veteran and a proud member of the American Legion and a previous member of the Masonic order.

Bob was retired from the NYS Department of Corrections, at the Shawangunk Facility in Wallkill. He enjoyed many years of retirement doing what he loved to do, which included hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife Patty, two sons Paul and Robert and their families, his brothers Harold and Alan and their families.

He is predeceased by his beloved daughter Linda who was a bright spot in his life.

Visitation will be on July 31, 2018, between 10:00 and 11:30 a.m., at the Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bona Ventura Ave., Wallkill, NY 12589.

Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
