Russell "Rusty" Wilson of Wallkill, NY, a retired Lieutenant for NYS Dept of Corrections, Wallkill NY, and a longtime resident of the area passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017, in Wallkill.  He was 76. 

The son of the late Randolph Wilson and Lena Factou Wilson, he was born July 26, 1940 in Lyon Mountain, New York.

Rusty served in the Air Force. He was a member of St. Benedicts Chapel, Wallkill, where he served as an usher for many years. Rusty volunteered at the Wallkill Fire Department where he earned the nickname "Chiefy". Rusty also enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.

Son,          Randy Alan Wilson of NYC
5 sisters: Gail, Kathleen, Phyllis, Jeanette, & Carol all of upstate NY
He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Keith and nephew Steven Wilson.

A funeral mass will be Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 1:30 pm at St. Benedicts Chapel, Wallkill Ave, Wallkill, NY.
