Walter Heinrich Schoepf

Walter Heinrich Schoepf of Irvington, NY and Pine Bush, NY, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 in New Jersey. He was 93.

The son of the late Jakob Peter Schoepf and Maria Christine Reusswig Schoepf, he was born December 5, 1924 in Rodenbach, Germany. Walter was a civil engineer and architect for Treadwell Corporation, Thomaston, CT.

Walter will be remembered by his wife of 57 years, Helen and his son, Walter Jr. and his wife Angela, and by his granddaughter, Luisa. Walter will also be remembered by his sister Ellen, and his niece and three nephews in Germany. He was predeceased by two sisters also of Germany.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, January 26, 2018, from 3:00 – 3:30 pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586. Services will follow at 3:30 pm at the funeral home. 

Burial will be in the New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush, NY.
