William Murie Stewart, Sr. of Montgomery, NY, a Truck Driver for ATF Trucking, and a resident of the area passed away June 15, 2017, in Highland, NY.  He was 72.

The son of the late John R. Stewart and Mary Murie Stewart, he was born March 08, 1945 in Flushing, New York.

He served in the Army National Guard for 26 years attaining the rank of Sergeant.

Daughter, Mary Cron and her husband Bill of Middletown; Son, William Stewart Jr of Montgomery; Daughter, Lisa Scott of Lake Placid, FL; Step Daughter, Michele Chianese Hires
14 Grandchildren: Erica, Monica, Brittney, William, Hunter, Rilee, Chase, Sebastian, Samantha, Sidney, Sadie, Serena, Seth, and Jacob
5 Great Grandchildren: Alexa, Jessey, Harlee, Garrett, and Elliott
Niece, Marjorie Stewart of New York, NY

He was predeceased by his brothers John and David.

Graveside services will be Noon, Wednesday June 21, 2017 at Orange County Veteran's Cemetery, 111 Craigville Rd., Goshen, NY
