Alan Rhinehart Obituary

Alan Rhinehart, a lifetime resident of the area, passed away on July 18, 2023, at Sapphire Nursing & Rehabilitation, Goshen, NY, after a brief battle with cancer. He was 72 years old.

The son of the late Alfred and Virginia Rhinehart, he was born in Middletown, NY. He attended the Delhi College Automotive Program and briefly worked at Allbee Chevrolet in Walden. He was a retired machinist from Spence Engineering in Walden. He was also a member of the Walden Baptist Church.

Alan is survived by his sister Joyce Knapp and her husband James of Walden and many cousins.

There will be no calling hours. In keeping with his wishes, his body was donated to Albany Medical College.
