Alberta Ann (Stephenson) Quick

Alberta Ann Quick of Gardiner, NY, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 in Poughkeepsie. She was 90.

The daughter of the late Alfred and Viola (Long) Stephenson, she was born August 25, 1934, in Jeffersonville, NY.

Alberta worked as a home health aide in the local area.

She is survived by her son Richard Sonneborn Sr. & his wife Karen, daughter Anna Cooper, daughter Vicki Jones & her husband Jerry, son Dale Quick & his wife Carol, son Jerry Quick, son-in-law Bill Smith, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her daughters Norma Depuy and Barbara Smith, grandson Justin Smith, great grandson Marcus Jones, brothers Jimmy Stephenson, Don Stephenson, Walt Stephenson and sister Lois Stephenson.

Visitation will take place Thursday, February 6, 2025, 4pm-7pm at Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bona Ventura Ave., Wallkill, NY 12589.

A service will follow at the funeral home at 7pm.

Cremation will take place privately.
