Alice F. (O'Mara) Marcinak

Alice F. Marcinak (née O’Mara), 91, of Montgomery, New York, passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 30th, 2026. 

Born in January 1935, Alice lived a life centered on family, kindness, and quiet strength. She was deeply compassionate and selfless, with a natural ability to make everyone feel welcomed, loved, and cared for. Her strength and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew her.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially bowling and gardening, and cherished time spent with her family above all else.

Alice is survived by her three children, Debbie Miller, Katherine Muller, and John Marcinak; her four grandchildren, Kyle, Freddy, Kody, and Katrina; and her five great-grandchildren, Alaina, Kohl, Annaleigh, Ryleigh, and Kody Jr., all of whom will carry forward her legacy of love and compassion.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Thomas Marcinak, as well as her grandson, Keifer Muller, who was taken too soon.

Her love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A service to honor and celebrate Alice’s life will be held at Tuesday, May 5, 2026, 5pm-8pm at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.

A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 10:30am at Holy Name of Mary Church, 89 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
