Alison Smith Obituary

Alison J Smith of Wallkill, NY, a longtime resident of the area passed away Friday, May 20, 2022, in NYC. She was 40.

The daughter of Earle H Smith Jr. and Margaret Magee, she was born April 11, 1982 in Newburgh.

She was a fiercely independent woman who lived life on her terms. She loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and listening to music.

Survivors include her son Shawn Stockhofer of Pinellas Park, FL, mother Margaret Magee of Englewood, FL, father Earle H Smith Jr. and stepmother Kathleen Smith of Wallkill, NY, brother Earle H. Smith III of Wallkill, NY, sister Christine Smith of Albany and several aunts, uncles, cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
