Alwyn "Al" D. Lassiter

Alwyn "AL" Lassiter V entered into eternal rest on March 3, 2020 at age 45. Born in Queens NY  to the proud parents Ruth and Alwyn Lassiter on March 23, 1974. Al was a lifelong resident of both Orange County and Long Island NY.

 Al was a true family man that loved deeply. His children were the love of his life and when he spoke of them his eyes were prideful. His smile would light up a room and his sense of humor would make you laugh for hours.  Al loved to cook and entertain for family and friends, the more the merrier. The highlight of his summer was watching the Yankees while yelling at the TV. He spent many years working as a firefighter serving his community. Al truly liked to help others.

Al is survived by his children Anthony and Grace Lassiter.  His Partner Jennifer Valleau, her children and grandchildren.  He also leaves behind his sister Elizabeth, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  His parents Ruth and Alwyn are previously deceased.

As per Al's wishes he wanted no services. We encourage friends and family to leave messages and memories to share.
