Anna (Gentile) Giuliano

Anna Giuliano passed away peacefully in her home on December 26, 2024 with her loving daughters and her beloved cat Chrissy by her side. She was 82 years old.

On November 13, 1942, she and her two sisters Bernice and Dolores were born to Nicola and Jenny Gentile. The triplets were very well known in the Bronx, NY where they were born and raised.  Soon after, their parents opened the Triplets Pizzaria. As she got older, Anna and her sisters worked in the restaurant with their parents and that is where she first met and fell in love with her future husband, Louie. They wed in 1961 and their love affair continued for 48 years until his death in 2009.

Anna studied cosmetology in school and worked as a hairdresser for several years but stopped to raise her daughters. After years of being a stay at home mom, Anna began working as a clerk at New York Life Insurance Co. and worked her way up to Assistant Office Manager. Anna worked there for 20 years before retiring and moving to Montgomery in 1998.

Anna, who was predeceased by her parents, Jenny and Nick, her beloved husband Louie and older sister Rita, is survived by her daughters, Rita (Robert)Soto and Grace (Anthony)Pisciotta; her six grandchildren, Louis (Christina) Lopiano, Amanda (Michael) Cohen, Ana (Scott) Woodson, Victoria Pisciotta (Joseph Vitanza), Anthony (Samantha) Pisciotta, and Nicholas Pisciotta (Francesca Castaldo), and seven great grandchildren; Olivia, Juliana, Isabella, Lily, Jason, Amelia and Luciano. She is also loved and survived by her two sisters, Dolores (Simon) Zelechow and Bernice Gentile, as well as many nieces and nephews, especially Kristen Keller, Brittany Mollicone and Gina Garcia who were a great sense of comfort and support to Anna and her daughters during the last six months.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 29, 2024, 3pm-7pm at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgonery, NY 12549.

A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday December 30, 2024, at 10:30amat Holy Name of Mary Church, 89 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.

Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
