Anne P. (Duffy) Ramppen

Anne P. Ramppen of Pine Bush, NY, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in Goshen, NY.  She was 85.

The daughter of the late Charles Duffy and Anne Jane McCaffrey Duffy, she was born December 3, 1936 in Bronx, NY.

Anne enjoyed spending time with her family traveling to Massachusetts, the Outer Banks and Vermont.

From the family’s earliest memories, Anne made their home a gathering place for family and friends, and it was never short of laughter.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Robert John Sr., on May 1, 2022.

Anne is survived by her children, Theresa Ramppen, Jean Marie Ramppen & companion Barry Smith, Robert Ramppen Jr. and Anne Ramppen; her loving grandchildren  J.R., Erin, Steven and Amanda; sisters-in-law Fran Duffy (Charles)and Judy Duffy (Patrick); many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members; childhood friend Barbara Barfield (Dooney) and family, and longtime friend Carol Rist (Joe) and family.

She was predeceased by her daughter Joanne and her siblings, Mary, Charles, Eugene, Barbara and Patrick.

A memorial service will take place Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 10:30 AM, Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.

Inurnment will follow in Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, NY.

Her family would like to thank the Valley View Nursing Home in Goshen, especially the entire staff of Glenmere Ground, for their dedication and care of their mother.
