Audrey "Jean" Connor

Audrey Jean Connor of Wallkill, NY, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, in Newburgh, NY at the age of 67 surround by her loving family.

The daughter of the late Thomas A. Keesler and Audrey L. Keesler (Ferris), she was born October 18, 1958, in Newburgh, NY. 

Jean worked as a computer lab teacher and retired from the Wallkill Central School District after many years of honorable service to the children of Wallkill. Jean was an active member of the Wallkill Reformed Church, where she sang in its choir and offered her undeniable gift with children to their Sunday school, Nursery school and Vacation bible school programs for many years. 

She is survived by her husband Thomas Connor, son Timothy Connor, wife Jamie Connor, their son Mason Connor, son Matthew Connor, wife Ashley Connor and their daughter Arya Connor, as well as her brother Charles Keesler and his wife Janet Keesler. Jean is also survived by her extended family including Monica Carfora-Hanke, Larry Hanke, and their respective children Daniel Hanke, Jack Hanke and Abigail Hanke, whom were all sincerely beloved by Jean.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Gary L. Keesler and Robert A. Keesler. Visitation will be held Monday, December 22, 2025, 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm at Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bona Ventura Ave., Wallkill, NY 12589.

A funeral service will take place Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 11am at Wallkill Reformed Church, 45 Bridge Street, Wallkill, NY. Pastor Stan Seagren will officiate. 

Burial will follow at New Hurley Cemetery in Wallkill, NY. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Knights Of Columbus or The Helping Hands Program.
